Refund policy

Here's when you can request a refund, how to do it, and what happens afterwards to your balance.

This translation is pending review. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

1. 14-day period

You can request a full refund of a purchase within 14 calendar days of the order date, provided the content hasn't been used: purchased Sotas must remain unspent and the PRO plan must not have been enjoyed beyond what is strictly necessary to try it.

If you've already spent part of the Sotas or used the PRO plan, write to us and we'll review the request case by case: we always refund when content wasn't delivered, was delivered incorrectly, or there was a technical fault on our part.

2. How to request it

Payments and refunds are handled by Paddle, our authorised reseller. The quickest way is to go to https://paddle.net with the email you used to buy, and request the refund from there, or reply to the receipt email.

You can also write to us at hola@lascuarenta.es (The Forty) with your player name and the purchase date, and we'll process it with you.

3. What happens to your account

Once a refund is confirmed, we automatically remove the Sotas credited for that purchase, and if the refund relates to the PRO plan, its previous expiry date is restored. The purchase is marked as refunded in your history.

If your balance is no longer enough, we remove whatever is available; we never leave your balance negative.

4. Money return timeframes

Once approved, the amount is returned via the same payment method. Depending on your bank or provider, it can take between 3 and 10 business days to appear on your statement.

5. Authorised reseller

The service owner is Adrián Muñoz (Lascuarenta.es (The Forty)).

The ordering process is handled by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles customer service enquiries and manages returns.
