How to play cards online with friends

To play online with friends on Lascuarenta, choose a game, go to ‘Custom room’, create a table and share the code with them. Once they join, you can start the game; if anyone is missing, house players fill the empty seats.
1. Choose your game
Go to Games and take your pick: Mus (Spanish partnership card game), Guiñote (Spanish trick-taking game), Chinchón (Spanish rummy), Brisca (Spanish Briscola), Escoba (Sweep) and many more.
2. Create a custom room
Click ‘Create room’. Depending on the game, you can choose options such as the variant or how long you want to play.
3. Share the code
A room code will appear. Send it to your friends in a message: all they need to do is click ‘Join’ and enter it. If you’re already friends on the website, you can invite them directly.
4. Start playing
Once everyone is there, start the game. If someone is missing, a house player takes their place so you don’t have to wait.
Tips for a smooth game
- Agree on the variant and house rules beforehand. How to avoid arguments.
- If anyone doesn’t know the game, send them the tutorial from Learn or explain it in five minutes.
