A bright, expressive medieval deck that's easy to read
The Caricature Deck presents the Spanish deck with a bright, playful medieval drawing style. Its forty-eight cards are full illustrations, each with its own composition, a continuous frame and the rank visible in both corners.
The coins take the shape of golden coins, the cups become red chalices with a fleur-de-lis, the swords use blue steel and the clubs appear as knotted green branches. Jacks, knaves and kings share a storybook look, with distinct colours so each suit is recognisable at a glance.
The light background and large symbols keep phone readability fast without giving up on ornamental detail. The eight and nine complete each suit for games that use the 48-card Spanish deck.
The two jokers show a jester with a trumpet and another with a lute. In Chinchón they count as distinct cards; in every other game, this design keeps the usual rules and values.
